What Twintrouble Means
You are a seeker. You often find yourself restless - and you have a lot of questions about life.
You tend to travel often, to fairly random locations. You're most comfortable when you're far away from home.
You are quite passionate and easily tempted. Your impulses sometimes get you into trouble.

You are very charming... dangerously so. You have the potential to break a lot of hearts.
You know how what you want, how to get it, and that you will get it.
You have the power to rule the world. Let's hope you're a benevolent dictator!

You tend to be pretty tightly wound. It's easy to get you excited... which can be a good or bad thing.
You have a lot of enthusiasm, but it fades rather quickly. You don't stick with any one thing for very long.
You have the drive to accomplish a lot in a short amount of time. Your biggest problem is making sure you finish the projects you start.

You are very intuitive and wise. You understand the world better than most people.
You also have a very active imagination. You often get carried away with your thoughts.
You are prone to a little paranoia and jealousy. You sometimes go overboard in interpreting signals.

You are wild, crazy, and a huge rebel. You're always up to something.
You have a ton of energy, and most people can't handle you. You're very intense.
You definitely are a handful, and you're likely to get in trouble. But your kind of trouble is a lot of fun.

You are well rounded, with a complete perspective on life.
You are solid and dependable. You are loyal, and people can count on you.
At times, you can be a bit too serious. You tend to put too much pressure on yourself.

You are a very lucky person. Things just always seem to go your way.
And because you're so lucky, you don't really have a lot of worries. You just hope for the best in life.
You're sometimes a little guilty of being greedy. Spread your luck around a little to people who need it.

You are full of energy. You are spirited and boisterous.
You are bold and daring. You are willing to do some pretty outrageous things.
Your high energy sometimes gets you in trouble. You can have a pretty bad temper at times.

You are relaxed, chill, and very likely to go with the flow.
You are light hearted and accepting. You don't get worked up easily.
Well adjusted and incredibly happy, many people wonder what your secret to life is.

You are friendly, charming, and warm. You get along with almost everyone.
You work hard not to rock the boat. Your easy going attitude brings people together.
At times, you can be a little flaky and irresponsible. But for the important things, you pull it together.

http://spraguelab.squarespace.com/blog/2008/10/10/new-class-stories-in-hand.html

Hi there!! :D
Alright! Our long-awaited day has arrived, and here is the official announcement for the new class at JessicaSprague.com! Are you ready!? Here it is!
Interested?
Yeah. I thought so. ;)
So here’s the backstory.
A few weeks ago, I was sitting down looking through my albums. They’re disorganized. They’re out of order. There are photography tags and shipping labels on the page protectors. Not user friendly at all. As I was flipping through the pages, I realized that I have spent a lot of time on the pages that are there. And I’m proud of them, don’t get me wrong. But there are so many other stories I have to tell, and want to tell. So many stories for which I didn’t have a picture, or the picture wasn’t good enough, or I ran out of time and went on to something else, or whatever other reason kept me from telling it.
I actually asked myself as I looked through my albums, “If I disappear tomorrow, and this is all there is, is that enough?” And I’ve been haunted by the answer to that question.
This experience was part of a process I’ve been going through this summer, while I’ve been working on other projects, traveling and teaching (photo editing, digital scrapbooking, etc). I’ve been realizing that for me, there needs to be a way to capture little stories that can either be made into scrapbook pages, or not. There needs to be a way to fill in those gaps for which there might not be a full-blown 2-page spread that took me 4 hours. But that is a story worth telling nonetheless.
For example, I’ve never told the story of how my beautiful bridesmaid and her fiance and my wedding photographer all gathered together at my wedding reception, produced guitars and a bongo drum, literally out of nowhere, and played us a set of love songs. A story worth telling? You better believe it. And this might otherwise go unscrapped, because of course I have no photos of it.
We all have stories like that. Everyone. And I’m here to tell you that what you have to say matters, whether it makes it onto a scrapbook page or not. Whether you took a picture of it or not.
So I began devising a system. For capturing the stuff that lives in between the Big Events that we tend to scrap more often. For recording the little things that make life rich and fulfilling and unique. I am really excited about it. I hope that this new system will give me a lot of freedom to spend time on the projects I want to spend time on, without stressing that stories are going untold otherwise. AND, most importantly, that it will gives me Stories in Hand when I am ready to pick a new project to work on.
So are you ready to gather some stories, so you can have them in hand?
In class, we will learn:
Techniques for capturing memories from our own lives and from others
Dozens of prompts for stories you might have forgotten
A cool system for capturing the stories happening in your life right now, AND for listing the stories you have yet to tell
Printable goodies that will make your “capture” system work, AND keep it cute! (you know we gotta keep it cute - there’s nothing in life that’s not better with a great design)
“Next steps” video tutorials for turning your stories into pages
Technologies you can use to help you gather your stories together with photos, video, your blog, or any other media you have that gives a peek into your life And we will make a REALLY CUTE project! (You’ll find out the supply list when you register). You are not required to have Photoshop to complete the project.
Oh yeah, by the way, this class is COMPLETELY FREE.
All you need to do to register is follow the links that will appear here, on the home page at JessicaSprague.com, and in the email I’ll send to everyone on my newsletter list on October 20, and type in the code we’ll give you. You’ll be added to the class group and have FREE unlimited access to the class materials. Everyone who is interested will be IN. There is no class limit.
So, why? Why THIS class? And WHY FREE?
Partly it’s because I feel strongly about the concept here. I think starting from stories is a unique approach that is independent of the actual means we use to capture them (for example, I have a good friend who is WAY into video - you’ll be meeting him in a few months - and he has captured all his stories on film and DVD. Amazing.). I think that’s a powerful way to connect with other people and begin capturing, collecting, and sharing stories.
“There was this one time when I …” Doesn’t that sound awesome? I can’t wait! I LOVE stories. And I am anxious to work right alongside everyone in class to list and catalog some of my own stories that would otherwise have gone untold.
And the other part is this. I want you to see what the JessicaSprague.com learning experience is like. There’s never been a better opportunity to check out what the videos are like, to participate in a private class message board, and to have access to top-of-the-line class materials than the Stories in Hand class.
So consider this my invitation to you.
Come on in, and tell some stories. Make a cute project. Change your life.
Registration begins at midnight eastern on Monday, October 20. Links will go live, codes will go out, and you can register yourself for FREE!
And now, here’s the part where I need your help. Would you help me spread the word? Feel free to download the flyer above and post on your blog, send to friends and family, shoot it around the world! You don’t have to be a scrapbooker, just a person with stories to tell.
You can also grab this blog badge, perfectly sized to fit on your blog sidebar:
I think at the heart of it, we’re all storytellers. We feel the call, the responsibility, to record and remember, to savor and to save, and that’s what I hope this class will be about.
So tell me, are you in?:D

My Tarot Card!

You are The Empress

Beauty, happiness, pleasure, success, luxury, dissipation.

The Empress is associated with Venus, the feminine planet, so it represents,
beauty, charm, pleasure, luxury, and delight. You may be good at home
decorating, art or anything to do with making things beautiful.

The Empress is a creator, be it creation of life, of romance, of art or business. While the Magician is the primal spark, the idea made real, and the High Priestess is the one who gives the idea a form, the Empress is the womb where it gestates and grows till it is ready to be born. This is why her symbol is Venus, goddess of beautiful things as well as love. Even so, the Empress is more Demeter, goddess of abundance, then sensual Venus. She is the giver of Earthly gifts, yet at the same time, she can, in anger withhold, as Demeter did when her daughter, Persephone, was kidnapped. In fury and grief, she kept the Earth barren till her child was returned to her.

Christmas Cards!

Ok as promised here is an update on the Christmas cards i've been making... i'm up to 23 so far with loads more to go!

Number 5... I used DCWV Christmas Papers, HOTP Sentiment stamp, See D's Traditional Santa and some chalk around the edge!
Number 6... Hotp papers, Cuttlebug Christmas Ornament Embossing Background Folder, 3" Scalloped Punch and a Forever Friends Sticker! Think this still need something but not too sure what or where!
Number 7-10... a gorgeous blue pearlescent/metalic cardstock, Cuttlebug Snowflake Embossing Background Folder, white cardstock and the gorgeous Santa Face stamp from Habico Clear Stamps! I did 4 in this colour!
Number 11-14... A glittered red cardstock, Cuttlebug Snowflake Embossing folder, white cardstock and Habico Santa Face! I did 4 in this colour too!
Number 15-18... Green glittered cardstock, Cuttlebug Snowflake Embossing folder, white cardstock and Habico Santa face! Again I have done 4 in this colour!
Number 19-20... Red cardstock, white cardstock, Habico Santa Face and some peel-offs for the sentiment! I have done 2 in this colour!

Number 21-22... green cardstock, white cardstock, Habico Santa Face and peel off sentiment! Again I have done 2 in this colour!Number 23... White cardstock, Silver cardstock, DCWV Christmas paper, blue metallic cardstock, turquoise peel-offs and sentiment with some blue gems! This looks a lot nicer IRL & I know peel-offs aren't in fashion but I have loads so thought i'd make use of them! I am making a few like this as I have loads of Christmas cards to make to sell... In which I will be donating some of the procede's to Charity!

Well... that's all I have for now as I spent Thursday taking apart the boys old beds ready for new ones to arrive and when they arrived at 11am I set about putting them together... each metal slat had to be screwed in place... boy were my fingers aching and my poor skin was really rough! I also thought i'd wash their quilts and bedding to go with the nice new beds, mattresses and pillows... was looking fantastic when I had finished!

I am now saving for a fridge/freezer all-in-one in my bid to be more cost effective on the environment and my electric bill, in which I will try to sell my seperate tall fridge and freezer! Also putting my Fishtank up for sale as I just don't have time to clean it etc! Lots of changes to be made in this house at the moment... LOL!

On other news my two cats Socks & Gizmo went to a lady who works for a cat charity, she is going to re-home them for me... as much as I loved them to bits and they drove me up the wall, my allergies were just getting worse and being on my maximum dose in allergy tablets... I had to let them go! At least I know they will go to a home where someone can give them the love and attention they need without being sneezed on all the time!

'R' Layouts!

After looking back through my posts I realised I hadn't posted the boys 'R' Layouts... so thought i'd take a moment to do them now!

This is Calum...

This is Thomas...

They absolutely loved these bikes... we were glad they did as it was a mad search on the day of their 3rd birthday to find a shop that had 2 bikes the same instock and that the boys would like, or rather that I liked... hehe!

I'm working on some more Christmas Cards at the moment, which I will hopefully photo/scan a few more tomorrow, but have idea's for the letter 'T' in the boys A-Z... TaeKwondo... which i'm hoping to get to work on at some point this week, as well as my idea for http://journalingjunkie.blogspot.com/ Challenge 37 'Secrets'... I know i'm behind on that one as Challenge 38 went up today but heyho!

More Goodies!!!

Ohhhh... I forgot to upload these photo's i'd taken of the last of my goodies from the USA... I have used some already and have still to sit and go through the Scrapbook Trends... just haven't had time!

Crop Layouts & A Few Christmas Cards

The PaperChasers first crop was Saturday 27th September... we had a lovely time... didn't get as much as i'd hoped done, but I felt soooo tired and it took me a while to even get going!

So here are the 2 layouts I have done at the crop... S for School for the boys A-Z Albums
This is Thomas the mischievious one!

This is Calum the more serious one!

In Thomas Layout I have used the acetate backing from the stamp and in Calum's I have used Stazon to stamp the image onto the acetate that was on the front of the stamp... trying to be good and recycle! The Papers are from the Basic Grey Boxer Range, photocorners are Heidi Swapp and the Smile stamp is from Kelly Panacci!

Of course it would have been so rude to not have gone for a wonder around the shop... I did get a few bits but fell in love with these stamps as soon as I saw them...

It would have been disgraceful to have left them in the shop... LOL... I have been good and already used some of them though as you can see from these Christmas Cards i've made... There are 4 cards so far and me being me... I am trying to do something different with each card!

This first card was done using HOTP Christmas papers from an old QVC TSV... the one with the stamps... I added a Forever Friends sticker that came free with the latest Bumper Issue of DoCrafts magazine!

The second card was made using the HOTP Papers again and using a Papermania (I think) 3d sticker, the silver and green actually pop out and looks so much better IRL... the Greeting is one of the Inkadinkado Warm Holiday Wishes stamp!

The third card is made using some DCWV Christmas 6x6 Stack paper, the sentiment is from the HOTP Christmas Kit coloured in using Chalk and Galaxy Marker... I love the stamped image, it has to be one of my favourites, although I have to confess I have it on the wooden block too but have never used it as I couldn't see where I was positioning it... absolutely love that they have brought it out in the clear stamp range... can see me using it so much more!

I love this fourth card... Have used DCWV Christmas papers again and the Inkadinkado Warm Holiday Wishes stamp... the Image is actually the acetate backing from the stamp as when the image is stamped it is the opposite way round, wish they brought it out in both positions as I love it!

I think that's it for now... except that I have won a Stampin Up Scalloped Edge Punch and I am absolutely over the moon as it's been absolutely forever sinec I won anything... now to decide which stamps to get with my first order... decisions decisions... they are all soooo gorgeous!
